My name is Jalette Morton and I am a California & Arkansas Commissioned Notary Public as well as a Certified Loan Signing Agent, I have been trained and certified through LSS (Loan Signing System) and NNA. I am bonded, licensed, and $1,000,000 insured. I am currently taking Arkansas signings, but will be available for California signings when I am in-state. I am in-process for RON notarizations. I became a notary in 2017 to work for my then employer as an in-house notary. When the pandemic hit, due to uncertainty, I was looking for alternative income and ways to use skills I already had. I completed my LSS training in March 2020 and it’s been uphill since then! I absolutely love doing signings! I get to meet new people, be a part of their journey for a short period of time, and just try to make the best experience possible for them. My passion for helping others & the industry, I went on to become an NMLS-licensed Loan Officer, which I still hold. I am currently working full-time as a Real Estate Processor and have gained a better understanding of loan documents as well why they are needed. However, my love is still for signings and I would like to get back to it as my full-time career again. I have been trained in purchases, refinances, reverse mortgages, & HELOCS and have completed over 800 signings. I have also completed auto loan signings, timeshare signings, trust documents, site inspections, and general notary work. I will be adding additional services soon. You can count on me to review all documents prior to signings to check for discrepancies and become familiar with each client’s loan situation. I double-check documents during & after each signing, will try my best not to make mistakes but will fix them ASAP to avoid funding delays; and meet FedEx/UPS cutoffs.
